I like this way better than a single reviewer because you get multiple points of views and can figure out which person aligned with your preferences better. (Tom Please have crowdsurfing go back to the core three) I support the Dice tower on there Kickstarter every year and continue to do so. I’m and grateful that the core three(Tom, Zee, and Mike) still do most of the top tens just themselves. I want to make it clear that this is not a personal attack on her, I just don’t enjoy the content she provides. I’ve stopped being able to watch crowd surfing and just choose not to watch live plays or reviews with her in them. I know she is loved by many in the comments on the channel and maybe this is not a popular opinion but she makes the videos she’s in unwatchable for me. (However I enjoy both of them)Ĭamila is a great person I’m sure however, she will disagree for the sake of being disagreeable. New voices are great but the similarity of Chris and Wendy in the same video make there points to seem repetitive and clunky. I think the two critics I have of the current status of the channel are not unknown or talked about else where. There are lots of great channels out there that put out content but know one puts out as much as the DT and for this I am grateful. The dice tower has always been my go to source for gaming content. and for what it's worth, this is, again, not some opinion I've calculated and been waiting for the chance to share: it's just what I've found "naturally" without even knowing there was a change. It seems to me that a change like this doesn't really give us anything that's all that new but does take away something, giving us fewer options. The difference is that we used to also have solo reviews from different figures with different tastes, personalities, styles, etc. I agree with other users who have said that they like the discussions we get from groups like in the top ten lists, but for me that's just it: we already had this kind of content in lists, in the Four Squares or the old Miami Dice type group reviews, and in other content. This hasn't been some kind of conscious protest or "boycott" - as I said, I didn't even realize they had made this change - it's just that every time I look at their Youtube page lately I rarely see anything that motivates me to click. The truth is I haven't watched very much of the channel in the past few weeks/months precisely because I just am not a big fan of these group reviews. I didn't realize that they had "officially" changed in this way, but I had noticed that I wasn't seeing the kind of reviews that they used to do.
